We inspire all school age New Zealand children to reach their full potential through programmes that help build self-esteem, promote good values and which teach valuable life, education and health skills.

Our programmes have the potential to significantly benefit Aotearoa, New Zealand through a youth population who are better educated, have enhanced employment prospects, greater self-esteem and are healthy and motivated.

We run school based programmes across the country including Kiwi Can, Stars, Career Navigator, Project K and MYND. Using fun and safe experiential learning through the great outdoors and inspirational classroom leaders and world-class mentors to help our young people keep on track, learn good values and set goals for the future.

Positive outlook, positive future
Remember when you were a kid. Life seemed full of possibilities. So why should that attitude change? Young people today need to be encouraged to stay positive, aim high, go for their dreams, and make the most of their unique talents.

That’s us right there, cheering them on.

The Graeme Dingle Foundation is a child and youth charity founded by Sir Graeme Dingle and Jo-anne Wilkinson in 1995 as the Project K Trust. The Graeme Dingle Foundation is a leader in the field of child and youth development, running several successful proven programmes – Kiwi Can, Stars, Career Navigator, Project K and MYND.

Graeme Dingle Foundation programmes use elements of the great outdoors, inspirational classroom leaders and world-class mentors to help kids, from age 5 to 18, keep on track, develop confidence, build resilience and self-belief, set goals for the future, and contribute positively to society.

With New Zealand’s stunning outdoors and close-knit communities as the backdrop, Graeme Dingle Foundation’s programmes build on young people’s talents through physical and mental challenges; developing core life skills and helping them achieve their potential.

The ‘Growing Great Futures – Whakatipu Tamariki Ora’ report prepared by Infometrics, showed that every dollar invested in Graeme Dingle Foundation’s programmes is expected to result in a long-term benefit to New Zealand of $7.80.  Graeme Dingle Foundation’s programmes change lives and are informed by best-practice research.

The Graeme Dingle Foundation has been successfully partnering with communities and schools for over 20 years.  Our programmes are delivered across New Zealand by licensed community trusts, this year we’ve already helped over 24,000 Kiwi kids.

impact is a completely volunteer charity committed to making a difference to Victorian women and children fleeing extreme violence at home.

Because impact has no paid staff or premises, with only incorporated fees and public liability insurance as its main costs, well more than 98 cents in every dollar donated is directed to fulfilling impact’s mission – a statistic of which impact is very proud. impact receives no government funding but does have DGR tax-deductibility status.

impact’s communication vehicles cost nothing: word-of-mouth and social media.

Starting as an ova of an idea in March 2006, Kathy Kaplan OAM and twenty of her friends sourced donations and, in a friend’s lounge room, packed 100 hampers which were then delivered to a number of metropolitan Safe Houses which support domestic violence victims.

impact has grown organically and, just last April, in readiness for Mum's Day 2018, more than 350 volunteers packed 1000 Bags of Love, as we now call them, in Glen Eira College, for the women expected to be in metropolitan crisis refuges hiding from their abusive partners. This Xmas, we expect to be packing in excess of 1050 Bags of Love for women in hiding just in Metropolitan Melbourne alone.

As well as its planned outcomes, impact has successfully brought together men, women and children from a range of cultural and religious communities all of whom leave every agenda outside other than to do something good for someone they don’t know.

An image that will never leave the memory of those who were there a few years ago is that of a hijabi wearing woman working shoulder to shoulder with a tzitzit [fringes], payes [side curls] wearing religious Jewish boy – an image which depicts Australia as it should be.

Because social justice and volunteerism are impact's core values, impact further reinforce this by supplying every child who attends our packing days with a Certificate of Appreciation. But impact doesn't do this directly or via the child’s parent or supervising adult: rather impact writes to the child’s school principal to advise of the child’s involvement and asking them to present the certificate to the child at an assembly.

Bags of Love are what impact started with and they are what impact continues to provide: our initial objective was to provide the women in hiding with those things most of us take for granted. But impact's work has grown - click below to see what else we do.

GIFTING BEAUTIFUL FAREWELLS TO ANGEL BABIES

We will work with funeral directors across Australia to be able to provide a simple but beautiful farewell to babies between the ages of 20 weeks gestation (or registered birth) and one year of age, where their parents would otherwise not be able to afford a farewell for their angel baby.

In conjunction with the funeral directors, wherever possible, we will provide funds for:
  • Funeral director's service fee
  • A celebrant or minister to conduct a service if required or quiet goodbyes in the funeral director's chapel.
  • Cremation and associated costs
  • An outfit generously donated from Angel Gowns for Australian Babies

THINKING MATTERS

Our Mission
Thinking Matters is a ministry encouraging New Zealand Christians to explore WHAT they believe and WHY they believe it, so they can engage culture and present the Christian faith both gracefully and persuasively.

We do this through training in apologetics, worldview, culture, and evangelism.

  • DEFEND FAITH: Prepare Christians with the knowledge and understanding needed to make a compelling case for their faith.

  • NAVIGATE CULTURE: Help believers recognise and respond to the challenges of culture with confidence, love, wisdom, and grace.

  • REACH PEOPLE: Inspire and empower followers of Christ to persuasively and lovingly share God’s message of hope.

Our Vision
Thinking Matters seeks an intellectually vibrant and lovingly engaged Church transformed by a renewing of the mind, confidently navigating and impacting culture with the truth of Christianity.

Our Audience
  • Church: We partner with Churches to run seminars, events, and conferences aimed at strengthening, inspiring, and mobilising the body of Christ to live out a confident, vibrant, and missional faith.
  • Youth & Next-Gen: We equip youth, young adults, and those who work with them with training events and resources.
  • Leaders: We facilitate training workshops and professional development for pastors, ministry leaders, speakers and influencers.
  • Educators: We offer speakers, programs, and material for Christian schools, colleges and tertiary providers.Conference Tauranga 2018

Our Values
  • Humility: We equip Christians in leadership and the wider body and persuade non-believers with modesty and respect.
  • Compassion: Live out The Great Commission in everyday life, seeking to love one another by sharing the truth in any setting and at any cost.
  • Integrity: Being a follower of Christ who demonstrates character and a love for others – being willing to speak the truth clearly and with love.
  • Enthusiasm: Having a passion to see Christians encouraged and equipped with training in apologetics and worldview.
  • Connectedness: Being able to build trust and respect through healthy connections with others.
  • Devotion: Acknowledges a dependence on the power of the Holy Spirit in all their efforts.

Our Story
Founded in 2008 and launched in Tauranga by William Lane Craig while on tour in New Zealand, we started as a loose network of like-minded people who wanted to help the Church meet the increasing need for apologetics and worldview thinking in our post-Christian culture.

Under the leadership of Rodney Lake we have partnered with churches, ministries and individuals to form a network of professional and lay apologists throughout New Zealand and now have over 60 volunteers working online, running events, speaking, teaching as well as staff specialising in the areas of Youth and Next-gen, Speaker Development and Leadership Development.

Our head office is in Tauranga and we have regional branches all over New Zealand running regular events in Auckland, Tauranga, Hamilton, Palmerston North, Wellington, Christchurch, and soon Dunedin. We also have campus-based apologists at Auckland University, Waikato University, Victoria University and Canterbury University.
